Bloom is an all-yellow blob created by a paint rainstorm that brings colour to the dreary rainforest. Upon first inspection, Bloom seems to be the only blob of colour in this rather dull place. But it doesn’t take long for her to spy a dash of colour in the distance. Bloom sets out to find more blobs! And she doesn’t just find one blob! Bloom finds many. They decide what’s needed is to create their very own blobby kingdom! They set out on making their dream a reality with some determination and a lot of hard work. 
The Blobby Kingdom has a beautiful message to share with children; you can achieve anything with hard work and focus. The author of this story, Orlando, was nine years old when he wrote and published this, his first book. And though he has dyslexia, he has produced a gem of a story and would make a great addition to any library. 
Orlando hopes this story inspires others to work towards their dreams, no matter their limitations.
