Hi I’m Orlando. I am a nine year old kid and my dream in life is to become an author.

 

Reading, writing and spelling is hard for me because I have Dyslexia. For those who do not know what Dyslexia is, it is a learning disorder which makes it hard to sound out letters and words and this makes it hard for me to read, spell and write.

I like to think that I always try my best (even when things get hard for me) and this book is the result of that hard work. I have not let my dyslexia get in the way of my dream of being an author.

For other kids who have dyslexia, I want this book to inspire you and help you to feel that you too, can make your dreams come true.

It’s not easy writing a book when you have dyslexia, but with the help of my mum (who is the editor and proof-reader of this book), I am happy to say I have made this happen.

This is my first book but I plan to write many more. I hope you have fun reading my first book as much as I have had fun writing it.
